At Akademeia 21st Century, we give the title of "Intercultural Globalists"
to individuals who have acquired the "Five Strengths," and we offer a special curriculum,
the "Five Step Curriculum," to help all students grow into such global professionals.

English Time Online (ETO) is a curriculum and system developed independently by the Akademeia 21st Century. It is a set of online learning materials that allows students to start learning at a level corresponding to their ability, and to easily learn at a pace that suits them. These lessons focus on listening, speaking, reading, and learning vocabulary, and the ingenious learning materials will help you have fun learning English. You can also freely participate in the "Conversation Lounge", where you can ask native English-speaking instructors questions, have conversations, and participate in various activities while improving your English skills.

These presentations are all made publicly available in the form of archived videos, and you can acquire a "Global Liberal Arts" that is applicable anywhere in the world simply by watching these videos. Through watching these videos, you will acquire listening skills and bolster your vocabulary, and at the same time, you will learn the presenting styles of skilled presenters as well as the secrets to giving world-class presentations that are applicable anywhere in the world.

Metropolis Forum

In order to develop the Fuji Five Lakes region, surrounded by rich and beautiful nature in the foothills of the world-renowned Mount Fuji, into a "New Green Metropolis Area for the 21st Century", numerous educational and research institutions, artistic and musical organizations, foundations and NPOs, corporations and entrepreneurs from Japan and abroad have gathered to form five working groups with the themes "Green Metropolis Area", "Education and Research", "Culture and Art", "Global", and "Environmentally Conscious Transportation". The Akademeia 21st Century has established the "Fuji Five Lakes Akademeia" and "Akademeia Headquarters" in the Fuji Five Lakes region, and is engaged in various activities in full collaboration with Yamanashi Prefecture as the central organization of this forum.

As the central pillar of the Fuji Five Lakes Green Metropolis Forum's activities, the Fuji Five Lakes Global Village has been established in the area, bringing together numerous educational and research institutions, artistic and musical organizations, foundations and NPOs, corporations and entrepreneurs from abroad, as well as serving as the venue for various international events. As the central organization of this village, which is seeing increasing participation from countries worldwide, The Akademeia 21st Century is currently partnering and collaborating with ten participating organizations from Los Angeles, USA, to host various events.

The Fuji-California Youth Leadership Summit is an international event where students from around the world discuss social issues and learn about leadership. There are two categories: the "Kotodama Presentation," a new presentation style advocated by 21st Century Academia, and the "Online Panelist" category, where panelists engage in lively discussions. These discussions and Kotodama Presentations will be posted on the official website and can be viewed by people globally.

The Fuji-California Young Artists Expo is an international event where students present artworks focused on social issues. Submitted works are displayed in an online gallery, allowing people from around the world to view and vote on them. Highly rated pieces will be exhibited not only online but also in an "international traveling exhibition" held in both Japan and the United States. By receiving feedback from a global audience, students will gain valuable international perspectives and insights.

"Kotodama Presentation" is a new style of presentation that uses short but memorable words to convey profound messages. The aim is to learn the depth of words through creative expression and to deliver hope to the world.

The Ultimate Local Experience
at the Los Angeles Summit

The final learning stage of the "FiveStep Curriculum"
is the "Los Angeles Summit."
During their stay in Los Angeles, students will participate in various events held across Southern California.
By creating their own vision of "True Cool Japan," and sharing it with local communities,
they will develop both their English language skills and their international perspective through practical experience.

Communicating Each Individual's "True Cool Japan" in Los Angeles

We will participate in "Anime Expo," the world's largest Cool Japan festival,
which attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees.
Participation in this event will be the culmination of students' learning experience at the Los Angeles Summit.
Through the process of promoting "True Cool Japan," which goes beyond anime and Japanese cuisine,
students will grow into true "Intercultural Globalists."
